Ballet Teacher & Principal
Ana Ramos
Ana is very passionate about fostering both mental and physical well-being in every student. Her classes are quite fun! Teaching mental skills to enhance performance while nurturing confidence and enjoyment in dancers. Ana's ballet journey began in Mexico, where she danced professionally for a few years. With 19 years of teaching experience in Mexico, Japan, and the UK, she is dedicated to education, specialising in ballet with Associate and Teaching Status from the Royal Academy of Dance. She also holds a Masters in Dance Science from Trinity Laban and is studying a Masters in Applied Sports Psychology at St Mary’s University Twickenham.

Lucy Chapman
Lucy engages students with her creative choreography and guides children to discover their own creativity within classes with their peers and individually, whilst also training their technique, developing skills, and building their strength and flexibility to become a well-balanced and versatile dancer. Lucy is a talented teacher and choreographer and a graduate of BWA, The Brit School, and London Studio Centre's Seedtime program in Musical Theatre. She has performed in notable venues such as the O2 and participated in events like Anya Hindmarch Fashion Week. She has performed in multiple productions such as Legally Blonde at the Pleasance Theatre. Lucy has developed a strong passion for teaching and choreography having taught at various schools in London including The Brit School, as well as choreographed multiple award winning pieces.

Georgie Rankcom
Georgie brings a wealth of theatrical experience and a passion for nurturing young talent to her role. As the Artistic Director of The Grey Area Theatre Company and holder of a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from Guildford School of Acting, her dedication to drama education is evident. Recently, Georgie directed a musical for British Youth Music Theatre at Southwark Theatre, further showcasing her expertise and commitment to the field. Having taught at esteemed institutions like The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, PPA Academy, BYMT, Stagecoach, and Italia Conti, she brings extensive knowledge to inspire and guide students. Her directorial achievements at renowned venues such as Southwark Playhouse, Kings Head Theatre, and Menier Chocolate Factory promise to ignite creativity and confidence in every child at BWA.
Singing Teacher
Georgina Thompson
Georgina is an ex BWA pupil, dance teacher and vocal coach. She has performed in many festivals, shows and productions such as Hairspray at the Ashcroft Theatre. At the Amplified Arts Academy she has coached children aged 4-22 years old in vocal anatomy, vocal technique, songwriting and performance technique. She also holds a Dance Teaching Diploma from the ISTD in Tap dance. Georgina is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge through teaching and to encourage and inspire the next generation of singers at BWA!

Elizabeth Reeves
Elizabeth is passionate about developing confidence through theatrical skills to children of all ages, whether they wish to pursue it as a full time career of as a hobby, focusing on delivering a safe environment to foster creativity. Elizabeth was the principal of BWA for 35 years and is now dedicated to teaching students and aspiring teachers, and to her work as an examiner with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD).

Lily Parker
Lily is very passionate about dance and her classes are built to inspire that same passion in young children. Lily trained in Cape Town, South Africa, at The Reddam House Academy of Dance. Where she trained in ballet, tap and modern. Moving back to the UK she did a foundation in Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford before moving to London to attend university at The Royal Academy of Dance where she obtained her BA (Hons) Ballet Education and the Licentiate programme (LRAD).
Ballet Teacher
William Byram
Will is a fun, engaging teacher from the United States, who loves to share his love of ballet in an inclusive way! He loves to share historical and cultural facts about famous works and choreographers, as well as challenge his students to create their own work and push their technique further than their syllabus work. Will trained in ballet and contemporary in New York and Hong Kong and has an MFA from Trinity Laban. He has performed professionally and performed the works of Ohad Naharin, Wayne McGregor and PUNCHDRUNK. He received his teacher training from the Royal Ballet School and American Ballet Theatre. He now works as a director and choreographer in opera, creating imaginative productions across the UK, US and France. He is currently a Lecturer at Trinity Laban and a recipient of a US-UK Fulbright Award.
Jazz, Modern & West End Dance Teacher
Josh Donovan
Josh's classes are high-energy and fast-paced, designed to enhance speed and power in each dancer's movements. His approach emphasises building confidence, encouraging dancers to reach their personal goals and excel in their craft in a safe space. Josh is an Associate Musical Theatre Jazz lecturer at Performers College Birmingham. As a performer, Josh has featured in productions such as "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory" at Leeds Playhouse, "Grease!" with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCCL), "We Will Rock You!" with RCCL, "Chicago the Musical" in Germany, "Flashdance the Musical" in Korea, National Theatre’s "Peter Pan" in London, and "Lightseeker the Musical" in Singapore, as well as numerous corporate showcases and performances. Josh holds a Level 6 diploma in Professional Musical Theatre from The Hammond and a BA Honours in Theatre from GSA/University of Surrey.
Modern & Tap Teacher
Molly Murphy
Molly enjoys sharing her love for dance and creates an encouraging setting to allow students to support each other in becoming the best dancers that they can be. As a medical student, she also uses her scientific knowledge to create a safe learning environment where her students understand how to integrate physical activity into their lives in a fun way. Molly is a BWA Alumni who has completed many dance exams in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern Theatre and Contemporary dance to a high level with distinctions, as well as being a world ranking Irish Dancer. She has had opportunities to perform at many dance festivals as well as performing at venues including the National Theatre, the Royal Albert Hall, Fairfield Halls, and Wimbledon Theatre. She also competes and choreographs for Kings College London’s Dance Society.
Mini Movers, Tap, Modern & Ballet Teacher
Candice Tierney
Having been taught and trained at the BWA, Candice brings her passion and skills to the pupils, from the 3 year old mini movers up to the 18 year old pupils who may or may not want to further themselves in the industry. Candice likes to bring confidence, fun, skill and technique to her classes, allowing the pupils to express themselves in Musical Theatre, Modern, Tap and Ballet as well as life skills that they can carry them forward into their futures.

Alicia Richardson
Alicia enjoys igniting a passion for dance within her students by creating a positive and enthusiastic environment. She believes we learn best through making mistakes and being unafraid to try new things. She is extremely passionate and enjoys challenging her students creativity and developing their skills. Alicia began training at BWA at age 10, she has completed exams to a high level with distinctions and is currently in her second year at Urdang on the BA Hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. BWA helped her develop her love for performing and choreographing and aims to pass this onto her students.

Semra Cana
Semra has a passion for developing students' skills with care and a commitment to excellence. She strives to build upon their creative, performance and technical skills in a well-structured and supportive learning space, nurturing their passion for the performing arts and working to achieve their best. Semra began her dance training form the age of 6 where she completed many ISTD dance exams to high levels with distinctions. She then went on to train at the Brit School for Performing Arts for 4 years and then went on to further develop her training at the University of Roehampton where she gained a BA Honours in Contemporary Dance and Dance Science. She has experience in performing at prestigious venues including Sadler’s Wells, Royal Albert Hall, Fairfield Halls and The 02 Arena. Semra has also performed for P!NK at the 2019 Brit Awards. Semra loves sharing her passion for dance with students and is very enthusiastic about teaching and choreographing pieces at BWA.
Street Dance Teacher
Agata Bogdanowicz
I am Agata and I loved dance since I can remember. My dance career started in Poland where I trained mainly in hip hop and street styles and performed on many stages with dance company. Our biggest achievement was taking part in Got Talent show. Since moving to the UK I have continued training and performing. I am currently a member of BirdGang hip hop theatre company. I started teaching professionally in the last few years. Teaching brings me great joy and satisfaction and I want to continue inspiring young people with the knowledge and passion I have.
Street Dance Teacher
Emma Rowland
Emma is very passionate about dance and is driven by her students' success. Her classes are very fast paced but you will for sure develop many new skills and bring your confidence out through dance. She finds enjoyment in seeing her students grow and develop their skills as a dancer whilst also having fun and appreciating the street dance foundations. Emma has graduated from The Brit School and has performed at the Queens Platinum Jubilee where she performed with Boy Blue. She has also modelled for JD and was featured in the JD Christmas campaign in 2017. She has performed on the Voice as a backing dancer. She has lots of experience on stage and teaching students how to bring out their performance and execution through dance.

Anne-Marie Wojna
Anne-Marie enjoys challenging her students as she believes one of the most important things we gain from training in dance & performing arts is exploring all of the things you never thought you could do, and then doing them anyway. She’s very bubbly and energetic and loves to nurture curiosity in her dancers. Building confidence, having a space to express individual creativity and pushing yourself (whilst, of course, having a laugh and making friendships!) is her core approach. Having begun her training at BWA, she has completed many dance and drama exams to high levels with distinctions, as well as had opportunities to perform at the National Theatre, Fairfield Halls and music videos. This all led her to complete 2 wonderful years at the BRIT School on the Musical Theatre course and is now in her final year of a 3-year MT degree at ArtsEd. Alongside all this, BWA helped cultivate her passion for choreography, so many of Anne-Marie’s troupes and solos have placed highly at multiple Festivals and dance competitions like Bird College’s Creation in 2017. Teaching, choreographing and performing are massive passions for her and she loves aiding growth of future performers at BWA.

Romanée Ramon
Romanée is dedicated to creating a positive and enjoyable classroom atmosphere. She believes that students learn best when they are having fun, so she helps foster an environment where curiosity and joy go hand in hand. Romanée takes pride in supporting students as they embrace challenges and discover new skills, ensuring that learning remains both engaging and fulfilling. Romanée began her journey at BWA at the age of 3 and has since trained with Ballet Black, Artistry Youth Dance Company, and The BRIT School. As a BWA alumna, she has achieved distinctions in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern Theatre, Contemporary dance, as well as drama LAMDA exams. Her training has led to remarkable opportunities, including performing at The BRIT Awards, and she is deeply thankful to BWA for playing a crucial role in both her artistic development and her passion for choreographing.
Acrobatics teacher
Becky Morley
Becky, a is an experienced gymnastics and acrobatics instructor. She holds IDTA Associate & Licentiate Teaching Certificates, and British Gymnastics Coach qualifications.With a background from The BRIT School of Performing Arts and the Bristol Dance Centre, she has taught at renowned institutions like World of Dance Theatre School and TJ’s Gymnastics Club. Through innovative coaching, Becky nurtures students' acrobatics technique, fostering confidence and strength.
